Google Search Console is one of the most important tools for Shopware SEO. Still, many teams use it only to check clicks and impressions. The real value is in the patterns behind the data.

From individual URLs to page types

In a shop, Search Console data should not only be reviewed URL by URL. It is often more useful to group pages by type: categories, products, manufacturer pages, guides, filter pages, and CMS landing pages. This reveals which areas are growing and which areas have structural problems.

What to look at

  • Queries:Which search terms trigger categories or product pages?
  • Impressions without clicks:Where do titles, snippets, or intent not match?
  • Indexing reports:Which important pages are excluded?
  • Performance by URL pattern:Which templates gain visibility?
  • Changes after deployments:Which technical changes affect SEO?

Combine Search Console with crawls

The strongest insights appear when Search Console data is combined with crawl data. Then you can see not only which pages have visibility, but also whether they are internally linked, indexable, canonicalized correctly, and technically clean.

For Shopware websites, this is especially important because templates and settings often affect many URLs at once.
